I remember towards the mid 2010-2020 range, they did a test where they put regular people, pilots and kids and teens on a flight simulator and the results were that the kids and teens performed just as well as the pilots; in some cases, even better. Games a have way to shape people in a positive way, thought modern perception is that games are for the unmotivated.
